      YES

I get asked to make all manner of weird things at work…..!!!

I take a brief of what is wanted, I ask loads of questions then go away and think, then look up on good old Google or ask friends look up in books.

You then build up a broad spectrum of knowledge of all sorts of odd information, but it’s like having your own internal Google.

Always ask questions Bobbie and be curious

Interesting question. If you mean help the individuals doing the research get better then yes definitely. Research gives you the opportunity to gain skills and think about things that you may never have before. Through research I have refined my way of thinking, improved my analytical skills and so many others which I need to solved the problems I try and solve. Research also helps all the people the research is about. If and when I succeed with my research, I’ll help so many amputees as their quality of life will be improved and they’ll be able to walk with more comfort with lower risk of other injuries.
Research helps so many people 🙂

Research helps everyone! people might not know it but without research, we won’t advance in anything, and we would stand still with no new inventions/technologies etc. Research is so interesting, so rewarding, and so fun. You get to solve things that no one has done it before, come up with things that can help loads of people/industries, you could help improve people’s lives. you could do many things with research. Research has definitely made me develop as a person, I look at things in a different way. I ask many more questions and I’m more keen to find solutions for problems.
