I don’t get messy as I don’t go into the sewers myself, but when I am out on site, there can be areas where blockages or flooding has occurred and if I am near those, I could get messy, especially my site boots if is surrounding the areas we are trying to access and investigate.

Being around open manholes, sewage treatement works and seeing blockages can smell quite strong though!

Not unless I’ve done something very wrong! I think the most messy I get is trying to eat my lunch whilst trying to get work done at the same time. I spend a lot of my time at the computer doing computational work (coding or modelling) so I tend to keep quite clean 🙂

No, but I always have to wear a lab coat when I go to the lab, because when I’m preparing my composite laminates, I have to cut the carbon fibre tapes, which can stick to you, and they are very itchy and sharp. but no not really my job doesn’t have any messy part.
