      Good question!!!

      A mix of both!!

But what I hate is when accounting and money gets involved, I see soooooo many things in this world that are built to a price (as in built to cheaply!)

That is why we are in such a “disposable” world it’s so cheap to just buy cheap things (from cloths to power tools) and throw them away after use.

I love things that are beautifully designed and made, and built / engineered to last

I see Engineering as a Science. In real problem-solving solutions, there is no art involved, it’s just being logical and know the basics of engineering and science and solve the problems. However, there are machinists in an engineering company who would manufacture the things that engineers design, that, I think is to some point an art to make everything perfect to the requested tolerances.

It definitely uses a lot of scientific knowledge and skills but you have to be creative to find solutions. I think everything in life is a bit of a combination of both 🙂
