The job iā€™m doing now, I saw the ad in the university when I was finishing my masters, it sounded very interesting, so I applied for it, did two interviews and then got accepted. šŸ™‚

I chose this job because I knew that I wanted to do engineering research and I had military connections. When I was looking for PhD opportunities (which is the common route into engineering research) I found the department I am in which works with the military to improve the lives of our soldiers. I could combine my engineering skills and interests to help a cause that is quite personal to me.

In the job I am in now, I asked a girl I knew who worked in the company I am in now if there were any positions in her team as I really wanted to work for this company and progress my career here.
