• Question: When was your first creation?

      Hmm, my first creation was probably something I did at school in Design and Technology in year 7. So about 11 or 12. I think it was a puzzle. We were given a piece of MDF, had to draw/paint a pattern on it and then decide on the different shapes of the pieces and cut them. I think that was the first think I ever really made myself.

      to be honest I don’t remember, when I was young I had to build many things for school, but they would give us the idea and say go and build it. so I don’t think of those as my creations, because the idea was given to me. I see my Doctorate project as my first serious creation because only the problem was given to me, and they asked me to solve it however I can. So the novel technique that I have designed and build to substitute drilling for composite materials is my best and actual creation. 🙂
