It’s not really an invention, but it is a novel technique. It’s the project that I’m working on, I have come up with a novel technique to substitute drilling for composite materials. drilling composites can cut the loadbearing fibres and decrease the strength of the composite materials. with my technique that doesn’t happen anymore which means stronger materials. many industries can’t use composites just because they don’t want to use drilling techniques. so with my technique, they can start using composites which is much lighter than metals. this can cause more fuel efficient cars, planes and ships, which is good both economically and environmentally.

I don’t know if it counts as an invention?
I have created an application to be used in hospitals that links to pressure sensors in prosthetic limbs so we can “see” what is happening and design better fitting limbs that are more comfortable for amputees and fit better to prevent further injury.

      Hmmmm…..

Not really an invention but came up with a new design for a magnetic micro manipulator….it’s so scientists can place a tiny probe on the eye of a fruit fly..
