I use a variety of materials in my job: lots of wires and plastics/metals make up the technology I’m making. Also, I do a lot on the computer so I don’t need physical materials to create things, but I can design it and create and test models on the computer too.

I mostly use one type of material, but in order to make that, I still loads of other things. I use composite materials (they are made out of two parts, fibres and some sticky liquid, you put the fibres in the liquid and then when it cools down you have a very strong material). sometimes I use metals but not too much. I also do things on the computer the same as Shruti. So I can just tell the computer what materials I want and I design something, and then the computer will tell me how that material will break/fail.
