      The main component of most of the plastics is a polymer.

      My favourite plastic is PEEK (Poly-ether-ether-ketone) which is in the family of thermoplastic composites. You can melt them (at 460°C), you can reheat them, which means it’s good for the environment because it can be recycled and turn into something else. PEEK is also very strong and very good in a harsh environment, it’s very resistant to chemicals, so there are many applications for it. they currently use it in the aerospace industry and automotive. I’m also using it in my project.
