Engineers are the people in the back ground design and making all the things that keep the world going, from the food on your plate to the tooth brush you use and the cloths you wear, all have had input from engineers….

If you look around you, most of the things you use on a daily basis have been designed or built by engineers. Without engineers the ability to fly, drive, connect to each other from far distances, or in the hospital all those monitoring equipment that they connect to the patients to monitor their vital symptoms wouldn’t have existed. Those are just some of the very obvious things that engineers have designed and have helped everyone. There are many more examples 🙂

If you think of everything you use in your life or will every use, engineers have always been involved in the make up of it.

Engineers work in all industries and create technologies for all aspects of living and working. Without engineers solving problems and making our lives more efficient, society would not be where we are today.
Take something as common as a vacuum cleaner, before them women would spend most of their days cleaning their houses, the little time that was left was spent in looking after their families, other housework or cooking. With the cleaning process much quicker with a vacuum cleaner, there was time for women to be able to have hobbies or go out and work.
Without engineers we wouldn’t have phones or computers or TV or cameras that make our lives more interesting and allow us to have hobbies. We wouldn’t have buildings or medical technologies that help save people’s lives.
The work of engineers is everywhere, helping the world become more efficient and solving problems to make our lives easier.
