      YES!
That may sound weird but sewers are pretty fascinating and we, living in a developed country, are really fortunate to have modern, working sewer systems and I’m glad to be apart of something that people need dealing with everyday.

I think that the concept of sewer systems and how it has developed over centuries is just jaw dropping.
Imagine if we all didn’t have a toilet and anywhere to collect all the dirty water we produce everyday. A lot of diseases and illnesses would start to occur and we would all be very unsafe.

If you think back to 100 to 200 years ago, some major cities across the world didn’t have any enclosed sewer systems and,a lot of what we use sinks and toilets for, would be mixed in with local rivers or open in the street you lived around causing massive outbreaks of diseases like typhoid or cholera.

Some places in the world people still don’t have access to clean water, toilets or sanitation.

I think the entire process of what happens to all the sewage from when it gets collected from buildings and elsewhere to how it gets treated at a sewage treatment to become safe and cause no harm to the environment, to eventually returning it to rivers or the sea, or even using it as fuel for buses is cool to be apart of.
